This natural space, located at the north-western end of the Aragonese Pyrenees, offers you a majestic representation of Atlantic forest, resulting in an abundant fauna.

The best preserved Atlantic forest of Aragon is located in the Valles Occidentales (Western Valleys) Natural Park.

With Hecho and Ansó as a reference, nature merges with the tradition and folklore of these Pyrenean lands, whose landscapes are the result of the glacial ice of the Quaternary.

Throughout its more than 27,000 hectares, you will see highly emblematic landscapes such as the leafy Oza Forest, Aguas Tuertas and Acher Castle, in the Hecho valley; Zuriza, the beech forest of Gamueta and the Ezcaurri crag, in the Ansó valley; or the Bisaurín peak in the Aragüés del Puerto valley.
