Torreciudad, a Marian shrine open to all, is located 24 km from Barbastro, a place where Christians have venerated Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles de Torreciudad (Our Lady of the Angels of Torreciudad) since the 11th century.

The Sanctuary, seat of Opus Dei, and its annexes are the work of the architect Heliodorus Dols.

It stands out for the variety of shapes that it manages to create with a basic material: brick. It is a work of art that creatively interprets the traditional constructive elements in Aragon.

Furthermore, the environment is of great natural attraction, there is a watchtower from the Arab era that gives name to the complex: turris civitatis, tower-of-the-city.

Next to it, the old hermitage, built on the medieval vestiges, stands upon cliffs.
